Marketing has no off switch Workshop

The secrets of Marketing revealed!

TBA 9.30am – 1.00pm

This workshop will help business owners (and those in charge of Marketing) to become more competent in a better-planned approach to marketing their products and services. During this interactive workshop, you will learn about market research through to measuring your results (and everything in between!).

Most business owners probably started out on their own because they had a skill and passion in a particular trade or profession. Research shows that where most SME’s suffer is their lack of strategic planning and marketing. Every business is different, and there are many options for how to market to customers - what always remains the same is the method of how you should plan and implement marketing.

This workshop is for the business owner or manager who has the responsibility of marketing their business or service.

This workshop will cover:

  • Why marketing has no off switch!
    • The evidence behind why successful companies who advertise perform better than companies that don't.
  • The five steps to effective marketing.
    • Detailing the RAPID Marketing Model developed by Blue Frog Marketing with case studies and practical exercises in each stage.
  • Why you should focus on the customer not the product.
    • The customer is the decision making influence on a brand so focusing on the customer is the only way to achieve a successful outcome for your marketing.
  • Why surveys are so important.
    • How to conduct a survey and other market research techniques.
  • How to measure your marketing.
    • The missing ingredient in 90% of marketing plans.
  • Tools of marketing to use in your business.
    • Simple DIY guides that you can apply to your business now

For those of you who are exhibiting at Think Business on the 22nd and 23rd of April (or those that exhibit at any other trade shows or large events etc.), there will be a special segment in the workshop covering the running of an effective trade display.
