I found the course most beneficial, a quick way to learn without self research; and also for groups/finding employees. Sharon Peaty,

LinkedIn in Practice Workshop
TBA 9.30am - 1.30pm
One of the most common complaints around online networking tools for business is the amount of time it takes to set up and maintain accounts. You may already have a LinkedIn profile and are aware of the potential of the application, but you just haven’t had a chance to sit and play with it yet. And when you do get the time to have a look, you can’t seem to find all those great features you know are there, somewhere!
LinkedIn in Practice is a hands-on workshop which delivers instant results. Rather than having to make time back in the office to implement what you have learned, you will be working on your live LinkedIn profile all the way through the session. That way, you’ll get the kick-start you need to take your LinkedIn presence to the next level. Due to the fact that it is so hands on, numbers are limited to 12 participants.
This workshop gives you an opportunity to:
- Get feedback on your LinkedIn personal and company profiles from an experienced LinkedIn trainer & user
- Implement suggestions for optimizing personal & company profiles
- Find and add new connections
- Request and give recommendations
- Join and/or set up LinkedIn Groups
- Ask/answer LinkedIn questions
- Find potential employees
Presenter Karen Moloney is an experienced IT training professional, business owner and on-line networking nerd. She discovered LinkedIn several years ago and has seen firsthand how the tool can be used effectively to market and grow a business – for free.
