Financial Reporting For Business Growth

Understanding your financial statements and controlling cash flow is essential for any successful business. This workshop will explain how to read the financial statements, what the figures are really telling you and how you can use them to make decisions about the most appropriate way to run your business successfully. It will explain simply and succinctly how accountants put together the figures and help you understand what creates value in your business.
After attending the workshop you will:
- Be able to read a Profit and Loss statement and Balance Sheet and know what you are looking for and what “the numbers” are telling you.
- Be able to set the 2 or 3 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your business.
- Be able to use the financial reports to track your KPIs.
- Be able to monitor and manage Cash Flow.
- Understand the importance of budgeting and tracking against budget.
This workshop is suitable for business owners that want to increase the financial understanding and performance of their business.
