Liz has several degrees including a Master of Education in Organisational Learning and Development, a Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma in Education. She has also obtained Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and is accredited in DiSC behavioural profiling.
One of Liz's greatest strengths is the ability to understand business needs and determine the best learning and development initiatives that will positively impact the bottom line. Her organisation, Successium Pty Ltd was awarded 'Silver' for preferred Career Development / Training Company by Human Capital Magazine in December 2008. Do you have the need to influence those around you? Your manager, your colleagues, or your team members? Perhaps you would like to better influence your clients and customers? And do you find yourself uncomfortable when negotiating? Do you tend to back down or give in? Maybe you are so rigid in your demands no one wins anything!
This course will review, discuss and practice the key skills and techniques essential to achieving the best possible outcome from every negotiation with internal and/or external customers and clients and provide participants with practical guidance on how to influence and persuade others through the use of appropriate behaviours without the need for authority.
By the end of this course you should be able to...
- State the benefits of being able to successfully influence people and events
- Present your ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner
- Influence a manager or others in authority
- Explain different negotiating skills
- Plan and prepare a strategy for successful negotiations
- Read and adapt to a client and/or team members behaviour style to maximise closure
