James Corne is CEO and Founder of The Franchise Institute and is the driving force behind the organization. He was instrumental in pulling together a range of experts in their fields to develop the now revolutionary Franchise For Success Program.

"When we decided to franchise our concept for property management we knew we needed help.  James has been our compass through this process and we definitely would not be where we are now without his guidance."

Does Your Business Have Franchise Potential

Wednesday 10th September 5.30pm - 7.30pm

The biggest challenge experienced by small business owners today is generating enough income to create the quality of life they desire without compromising family and personal time.

Contrary to popular belief franchising can be an extremely cost effective and lucrative way to grow a business. Its particularly appealing to SME businesses who often struggle with issues of capital and staffing.

Franchising can also provide the opportunity of giving time back to the business owner who is normally working long hours IN their business rather than working strategically ON their business.

This introductory workshop will cover all the essential points you need to know to decide if you can franchise your business. Topics covered will include:

  • To grow or not to grow
  • Why Franchise a business
  • What is franchising
  • Overview of the franchise market in Australia
  • Myths and misconceptions
  • What does franchising a business involve.
  • What are the legal requirements for franchising a business?
  • Is your business suited to franchising?

There will be a Q&A period of 20 - 30 mins after the workshop.  The workshop is designed for ALL SME Business owners who want to expand their business. There are no minimum requirements in terms of length of operation, numbers of staff or turnover.
