This Privacy Statement covers the treatment of personal information that is recorded when you register for our newsletter or workshop or use any forms on our site. No other information is collected from visitors to our web site.

Our privacy policy does not apply to the practices of other companies mentioned, or otherwise listed, on the Business Enterprise Centre web site, nor does it extend to people that the Business Enterprise Centre does not employ.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

The Business Enterprise Centre maintains your email address and other pertinent information regarding your subscription, to process payments, issue tax receipts, send updates on BEC events and training opportunities or other form requests.

The Business Enterprise Centre may allow selected vendors the opportunity to send offers and information that we deem may be of value to you through our service, but your contact information is never released or sold to any vendor, partner or outside agency. Unsubscribe information is provided in all of our mailings, giving you the option to remove yourself from our newsletters at any time.

The BEC is funded by both AusIndustry and Industry & Investment NSW and as a requirement of  that funding we may be required from time to time to provide details of the businesses that attend our workshops and or have a Business Advisory Service.  These details are used for audit purposes and or to conduct surveys of businesses to assess the quality of services delivered and are generally aggregated across larger geographical areas.  No specific information about individual businesses in regard to issues discussed or workshop topics are provided.

At this time, Cookies are not used on the Business Enterprise Centre site.

Security

Your email address information is stored in a protected directory. Access is restricted to Business Enterprise Centre Staff.  Financial Members of the BEC are entitled to list their business contact details on our Business Directory on our website and do so at their own choice for marketing purposes.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The BEC may amend this policy from time to time. If significant changes are made in the way your personal information is used, we will post a prominent announcement on our site notifying you of the change.
