Overview of BEC Mentoring Programs

BEC – St George & Sutherland Shire has been running very successful mentor programs since 2003.  In that time over 100 business have successfully graduated from a mentoring program.

These programs enable you to feel more confident about your business management skills, gain focus and direction and be able to explore new ideas and talk to someone confidentially about your business.

Stepping Up Mentor Program

To be a participant on the program you need to have been operating your business for at least 2 years or more, have a turnover of $200,000+ have at least 1 full time equivalent employee in addition to the owner and be serious about growing your business.

Young Entrepreneurs Mentor Program

For business owners aged 18 yrs-35 yrs who have operated a small business for at least one year and have identified a business goal or hurdle suitable to be addressed through the program.

Women in Business

For women who have owned or operated a small business for between 6 months and 2 years, who operate the business full-time and draw the bulk of their income from the business and are committed to growing the business. More information on this mentoring program will be available soon.
