Top 10 Considerations when preparing a project brief for a Creative/Marketing Consultant or Graphic Designer

01. Project Requirement


What do you think you require from us?
A consultation will determine whether it is the appropriate solution.

02. Product/Service


Describe or show us what product or service you offer your consumers.
How it will benefit them?

03. Average Price Point


What is the average price point or transaction value of your product or service?

04. Project Goal


What is the goal of the project brief?
Is it to achieve an increased market share, or increase sales volume?

05. Project Deadline


When does it need to be completed by?
Will it be accompanied by a marketing campaign to promote it?

06. Project Funding


How will the project be funded?
The allocated budget for the project will determine the feasibility of it.

07. Primary Audience


Who is the project primarily targeting?
These are the consumers who will buy the bulk of your products/services.

08. Secondary Audience


Who is the project also targeting?
These are the consumers who will also buy your products/services.

09. Good Competitors


Examples of what your competition is doing, or admirable companies in other industries provide a benchmark.

10. Poor Competitors


Examples of what your competition is doing, or uninspiring companies in other industries provide a benchmark.
