The Home-based Business sector is unique and vital to the NSW economy and like many small businesses requires skill enhancement and knowledge to continue to grow or sustain their business. The Department of State and Regional Development annually recognise this sector during Home-based Business Week and 2009’s program is fast approaching - 25th to 29th May 2009. Home Based Business HBB are those businesses operated at home as well as those businesses where there is no registered business premises other than home and are referred to as businesses that operate from home such as Trade & Construction businesses. 

“Running A World Class Business From Home” is a full day seminar on Wednesday 27 May at Club Menai, 44 - 60 Allison Cr, Menai. This seminar will provide operators of Home Based Businesses with a range of tools including an understanding of the variety and economic value of local HBB, Business support services available to HBB, DIY Publicity, Customer Service, Legal Issues of on-line business as well as showcase a range of support services and options for leaving the home office as you grow and employ staff or become a successful exporter.
