The BEC provides a variety of events throughout the year to bring together business owners to share ideas and develop business opportunities and extend their networks. These events include our breakfast presentations, information evenings on important topics for your business, industry events as well as dedicated networking functions.

  • BEC Business Breakfast - Wednesday 4 August at Miranda.  Improving Sales Performance – It’s all about the questions!.  Join Thomas Preiss as he shows you how to listen ‘smarter’ and question more effectively, thus boosting your communication skills and your sales performance.  Also Thursday 19 August at Kogarah.

  • If you are in or associated with the Fashion Industry, you need to come along to the Southern Sydney Fashion Cluster's Fashion Networking Night on Thursday 5 August. Meet and network with industry associates over dinner, hear industry speakers and see the launch of "Fashionable Thursdays".

  • Northies Beach Bar Designer Markets - Saturday 7 August 10.30am - 3.30pm.  These are the only designer markets in the Southern region of Sydney and embrace Australian designer fashion apparel, jewellery, shoes and accessories. The markets support local talent & provides the community with a chance to be able to purchase designer product all within our own Southern Fashion District - all located within the family friendly Cronulla Northies Hotel.

  • Get professional images for all your marketing needs or update what you have when Craig George does our Corporate Photo Shoot on Wednesday 11 August.  After the session you will be provided with a disc of images suitable for print and web that will make sure you look your best!

  • China Lunch Room - Friday 20 August 12.00-3.00pm - A focus on the National Broadband Network, and the international opportunities that will emerge for Australian companies involved in contributing to this project, and harnessing its potential and applications.
