BEC Events 2012
The BEC provides a variety of events throughout the
year to bring together business owners to share ideas
and develop business opportunities and extend their
networks. These events include our breakfast presentations,
information evenings on important topics for your business,
industry events as well as dedicated networking functions.
- Friday 3 February.
BEC Pub Biz. Come along with a friend and enjoy some social networking!
perfect for the sole trader who wants to network and gain new knowledge from others in your field, or for the business owner who never gets a chance to catch up with friends and unwind?
This monthly social event is a great way to take it easy away from the office and mingle with other local businesses.
- Thursday 16 February. St George Business Breakfast - What You Need To Know About Leasing Your Business Premises. The aim of this session is to clear up misunderstandings and to give some "do's and don'ts" so that tenants can negotiate the best deal for themselves and be certain that they know what they are getting into.
- Sunday 19 February. Designer Fashion Markets. The Designer Fashion Markets bring you a sophisticated mix of local designers boasting a mix of designer shoes, bags, accessories and, of course, fashion for women & children.

I enjoyed meeting you this morning at the BEC. Nick Psaila gave us some good material to help us embrace change and focus on the key issues that will help us to improve our performance. Just wanted to say thanks for Friday evening…what a great setting for a networking function. Everyone felt relaxed and looked like they were having a good time. I came away with 8 business cards and met some interesting people, I’ll follow them up by sending them all an email and a couple of them an invitation to visit the SSHED.
