Why Are Our Advisory Sessions Free

The NSW Government supports organisations around the State to provide free confidential business advisory services to people starting and operating a business. Eighteen organisations across NSW deliver up-to-date business information through 39 offices to assist business owners to expand their existing business or to explore new business ideas.

The BEC is contracted by the Department of State & Regional Development to deliver the Business Advisory Service for the four Local Government Areas that make up the St George Region, Sutherland Shire and Botany Local Government area.

This service is delivered free to anyone who needs business advice or direction in their new or existing business. We can also provide follow-up specialist advice or referrals provided by members within our BEC Membership.

The program is also supported by our volunteer experienced advisers who contribute their time and knowledge to the program.

Apart from free consultations we also provide relevant fact sheets, tools and low-cost business workshops in a variety of business related areas.
